These small 1/4" seeds are very hard. They are the shape of tears, in western civilization called "Job's Tears" after the biblical Job. Job's Tears have been used for luck & jewelry for thousands of years, having been discovered in old digs in Indonesia and India. One of the earliest domesticated plants.
